Stanford (8-2) takes on the LMU Lions (10-9) for the first time this season Saturday, October 14. The game is set to start at 6:00pm at the Avery Aquatic Center.

The Cardinal's three leading scorers all rank in the top-ten in the MPSF; Thomas Hopkins ranked third with 2.30 goals per game, Peter Varellas following suit ranked fourth with 2.20 goals per game, and freshman William Hindle-Katel is ranked tenth with 1.90 goals per game. Stanford goalie Sandy Hohener ranks sixth on the MPSF list for saves per game with 6.71.

LMU leading scorer Endre Rex-Kiss has 38 goals in 19 games. Goalie Ian Elliot has 137 saves.

Both teams will head to the NorCal tournament this weekend at Cal's Spieker Aquatics Complex and Maramonte High School's Bill Brown Aquatics Center. The tournament hosts 16 teams, 15 of which are ranked in the nation's top-twenty. Every team in the top-ten will be represented this weekend at the tournament.

Stanford plays its first game on Saturday at 10:20AM versus the #16 Air Force Academy. The game will be held at the Bill Brown Aquatics Center.
