Big Splash Set For 9:30 a.m. On Oct. 20

Stanford and California's annual clash set to be aired on Pac-12 Networks

	Freshman BJ Churnside and the Cardinal will take on California in the Big Splash Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m.

STANFORD, Calif. - The Pac-12 announced on Monday the start time for Saturday, Oct. 20's Big Splash men's water polo contest between Stanford and California. The Cardinal and Golden Bears will clash at 9:30 a.m. at Spieker Aquatics Complex and the contest will be aired live on Pac-12 Networks.

The event precedes the Big Game between the schools, set for 12 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

The Cardinal dropped its MPSF opener last Saturday, 9-6 to No. 1 USC at Avery Aquatic Center. No. 5 Stanford (6-3, 0-1 MPSF) aims to bounce back this weekend as it travels to Southern California this weekend where it visits No. 2 UC Santa Barbara Saturday, Oct. 13 at 12 p.m. and No. 8 Pepperdine Sunday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m.

Stanford defeated California, 9-8, in the NorCal Invitational Third-Place Game back on Sept. 16, the schools' first meeting of 2012.
