2012 ACWPC All-Academic List

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford men's water polo landed eight student-athletes to the All-Academic list released by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

Alex Avery and Travis Noll earned "Outstanding" status, reserved for student-athletes with cumulative grade-point averages between 3.71-4.00.

Bret Bonanni, BJ Churnside and Andrew LaForge earned "Superior" status with GPAs between 3.41-3.70, while Conner Cleary, Ian Gamble and Forrest Watkins all earned "Excellent" status with GPAs between 3.20-3.40.

Stanford's team GPA was 3.45, a figure that ranked third behind only CalTech and St. Francis (N.Y.).

Stanford completed the 2012 season with an overall record of 16-7 and a No. 4 national ranking.
