2010 ACWPC Men's Water Polo All-Academic List

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford men's water polo landed nine student-athletes to the All-Academic list released by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

Senior Sage Wright and redshirt sophomore Travis Noll earned "Outstanding" status on the list, reserved for student-athletes with cumulative grade-point averages between 3.71-4.00.

Redshirt junior goalie Brian Pingree and junior driver Jacob Smith earned "Superior" status with GPAs between 3.41-3.70, while senior Alex Pulido, juniors Ryan Kent and Peter Sefton, redshirt sophomore Andrew LaForge, and redshirt freshman Forrest Watkins all earned "Excellent" status with GPAs between 3.20-3.40.

Stanford completed the 2010 season with an overall record of 15-8, and 5-3 in MPSF play. The Cardinal came within a goal of reaching the National Collegiate Championship when it made a run to the MPSF Tournament final, where it fell, 8-7, to USC in sudden-death overtime.
