2012 ACWPC All-Academic List

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford men's water polo landed 14 student-athletes to the All-Academic list released by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

Alex Avery, Sam Finlayson and Travis Noll earned "Outstanding" status, reserved for student-athletes with cumulative grade-point averages between 3.71-4.00.

Conner Cleary, Andrew LaForge, Brian Pingree, Jacob Smith and Austin Trinkle earned "Superior" status with GPAs between 3.41-3.70, while Ryan Brown, Ian Gamble, Ryan Kent, Paul Rudolph, Peter Sefton and Forrest Watkins all earned "Excellent" status with GPAs between 3.20-3.40.

Stanford's team GPA was 3.47, a figure that ranked second only behind MIT.

Stanford completed the 2011 season with an overall record of 19-7 and a No. 4 national ranking.
