How Teams Qualified

Three teams will receive an automatic invitation by winning their conference
championships (MPSF, CWPA, WWPA). A fourth team will be chosen on an
at-large basis following the MPSF championship game on Sunday,
November 30.

• Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF)
  The team coming out on top after the eight-team tournament at the University of California (November 28-30) will receive the automatic MPSF berth.
• Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA)
  The CWPA Champion will be determined at an eight-team tournament at the Naval Academy November 21-23.
• Western Water Polo Association (WWPA)
  An eight-team championship tournament contested at the Claremont McKenna College (November 21-23) will determine the team to represent the 14-school WWPA.
• At-Large Invitation
  The fourth team will be selected by the men's water polo committee on Sunday, November 30.
