Stanford, Calif. -- The Stanford men's volleyball team is ranked No. 14 in the latest edition of the USA Today/AVCA Coaches Top 15 poll released today by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The Cardinal (7-7, 7-6 MPSF) had slipped out of the Top 15 for three weeks after reaching a season-high No. 12 on January 12.
Stanford is currently on a three-match win streak, defeating No. 11 Loyola Marymount (3-0), then-No. 15 UC Irvine (3-1) and then-No. 12 Pacific (3-1) last week. Stanford received 34 points, while No. 1 Pepperdine earned 15 first place votes and a total of 238 points.
Stanford will face California on Friday at Maples Pavilion, before traveling to UC Santa Cruz on Saturday, March 4. Both matches begin at 7 p.m.
