Seventh-Ranked Stanford Men's Volleyball Team Defeats Eighth-Ranked Ohio State

Stanford, Calif. - Andy Witt tallied 32 kills and Devin Poolman added 18 to lead seventh-ranked Stanford to a 15-9, 15-8, 12-15, 15-13 victory over eighth-ranked Ohio State in a non-league men's volleyball match on Saturday night at Maples Pavilion.

Keenan Whitehurst added 15 kills and Tad Hoffman added 13 in the season-open victory over the Buckeyes.

Jeff Koterba led Ohio State with 25 kills, while Rene Esteves added 15.

Ohio State fell to 3-1.
