As a Junior in 2011: Appeared in six matches off the bench ... had two digs in the season opener against UC Santa Cruz (Jan. 5), the first digs of his collegiate career ... also recorded a dig against Cal Baptist on March 19.


As a Sophomore in 2010: Walked on to the team in the 2010 season and played in two matches off the bench ... made debut with four-set outing against UC Santa Cruz (Feb. 5) ... as a freshman, played on Stanford's club team, which advanced to the national tournament and made the all-tournament team.

High School/Club: Captain of the volleyball, tennis and junior engineering teams at St. Mark's School of Texas in Dallas ... played on the Stanford club team as a freshman ... made the all-tournament team at club nationals ... a true walk-on to the Stanford varsity who had never been seen by Cardinal coaches until trying out.

Grand Prize Winner in musical composition for his piece, "Farewell," for piano and strings, which was played by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra ... president of St. Mark's Hydrogen Fuel Cell club ... among 139 students around the nation selected as a Presidential Scholar ... majoring in chemical engineering.
