As a Sophomore in 2012: Played in 11 matches, starting eight ... hitting percentage of .425 was fifth-highest on team ... had a career-best eight kills (one error, .636) in a four-set victory over visiting UC San Diego (March 2), as a starter ... seven kills, and four blocks in a starting role during sweep of visiting Juniata (Jan. 14).
As a Freshman in 2011: Played in nine matches, starting three times ... posted five kills and his only ace of the season off the bench, starting the third set in a tight match against UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 26) after playing only three sets all season ... in next match, had a kill, solo block and assist on successive points to boost Cardinal in a four-set victory at UCI (March 4) ... had two digs and four kills in his first collegiate start against Cal Baptist (March 19) ...finished the season with 19 kills in 36 attacks, two assists and six digs.
