How Teams Qualify
The National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship provides for a single elimination tournament, comprising four teams. One team will be selected from each of the West, Midwest and East regions through automatic qualification; and one team will be selected at large. The following conferences have been granted automatic qualification for the 2010 championship:
- East-Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA)
- Midwest-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA)
- West-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF)
The fourth team will be selected by the men's volleyball committee on Sunday, May 2, 2010.
