STANFORD, Calif.- Stanford head coach John Whitlinger has announced the signing of two recruits to National Letters of Intent.

Joining the Cardinal for the 2012-13 campaign will be Nolan Paige (Fairfield, Ct.) and Trey Strobel (Bradenton, Fla.).

"I'm very excited to welcome Nolan and Trey as part of our program," said Whitlinger. "They are excellent players and I'm looking forward to their contributions both on and off the court. Nolan and Trey will be a big part of our future success."

A product of Hopkins School, Paige recently won a USTA National Open in Mobile, Alabama. In addition to leading his tennis team, Paige also serves as a captain for the basketball team. He has enjoyed an outstanding prep career, peaking at No. 5 in last year's national rankings and collecting four USTA balls along the way: a gold, a silver and two bronzes.

An attendee of the Florida Virtual School, Strobel recently qualified for the prestigious Eddie Herr International Junior Tennis Championships in Florida and posted a victory as a wildcard in his first-round match. Strobel has enjoyed success in both singles and doubles on the ITF circuit.

Stanford is back in action Jan. 13-16 at the Sherwood Cup in Thousand Oaks.
