LOUISVILLE, Kty. -- The top-ranked Stanford men's tennis team advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Men's National Team Indoors in Louisville, KY after defeating No. 6 Louisiana State, 7-0 on Friday. Stanford (7-0) has won 18-straight matches dating back to April 5 of last season. The Cardinal (8-0) will face No. 3 Georgia in the semifinal match on Saturday at 4 p.m. The event will continue through Feb. 22 at the Louisville Tennis Club.

The fifth-ranked Stanford women's tennis team won its 27th-straight match on Friday at the USTA/ITA Women's National Indoor Team Championship in Madison, Wisconsin. Stanford advanced to the semifinals after defeating No. 12 Tennessee, 7-1. The Cardinal will face Georgia on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CST. The two squads are tied for fifth place in the current rankings. The National Indoor Championship will continue through Feb. 22 at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
