Stanford Tennis Teams Defeat Hawai'i In Mock Duals

Both Stanford tennis teams posted victories over Hawai'i on Monday afternoon in mock dual matches played at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel in Waikoloa.

2010-11: Finished 1-4 in singles play ... made his collegiate debut in a 7-5, 6-2 loss to San Francisco's Mark DeCastro on Oct. 15 at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships ... picked up first career victory in a 6-2, 6-4 triumph over Kyle Miller of UC Davis on Nov. 4 at the Gael Classic ... 1-3 in doubles play, recording only win of the year on Oct. 15 at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships with Sam Ecker in an 8-0 triumph over Portland State's Jeff Cero and Zach Lubek.

Prior to Stanford: 2010 graduate of King's Academy ... member of 2010 Jordan Men's Davis Cup squad ... Junior Davis Cup performer ... National Juniors champion ... also played soccer in high school, earning MVP honors as a junior while leading the team in scoring ... high school valedictorian ... recipient of the Academy Cup, the highest award given at his school.
