Stanford, Calif. - The Stanford men's swimming and diving team has signed diver Dwight Dumais to study and compete on The Farm in 2005-06 announced head diving coach Rick Schavone this afternoon.

Dumais, who hails from Ventura, Calif. was a member of the USA Age Group National Team that recently competed in the World Age Group Championships in Brazil. He is also a member of the Trojan Dive Club.

Schavone feels that Dumais is a great talent and could be one of the finest male divers ever to sign at Stanford.

"I am very excited with Dwight's decision and especially excited to have a diver of Dwight's ability," said Schavone. "He should be a great help to our team at the NCAA's".
