STANFORD-- The British Commonwealth will be another international destination for three Stanford swimmers, as Michael Zoldos and Matthew Swanston are currently in London for an international meet this weekend. Paul Kornfeld will join the duo later in the week after competing in Rome.

Zoldos and Swanston are both a part of the Canadian “B” team, which will race on Saturday and Sunday in a tri-meet with Canada, Russia and Great Britain. The duo will then travel to Leeds in West Yorkshire, England for the British Short Course Grand Prix from August 6-9. The Grand Prix will also feature members of the Canadian “A” team, including Cardinal Paul Kornfeld, who will swim Thursday in Rome at the World Aquatics Championships.

Over in Rome, Cardinal Jason Dunford finished 32nd overall in the 100-meter freestyle (49.16) at the Championships, while his brother David, was 38th with a time of 49.34. Jason was sixth in the 50-meter butterfly earlier in the meet, which runs through August 2.
