Pac-10 Names All-Academic Team For Men's Swimming and Diving

Nine Cardinal athletes honored including five first-team selections.

	Junior Dan Westcott earned first-team All-Academic honors from the Pac-10 Conference.

Walnut Creek, CA - The Pacific-10 Conference announced the All-Academic Team for men's swimming and diving today. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter or significant substitute.

Stanford had nine athletes named to the first and second teams. First team honorees were Randall Bal (Fair Oaks, CA), Brian Ferris (Lubbock, TX), Jesse Fonner (Rockville, MD), John Waters (Greenwich, CT), and Dan Westcott (The Woodlands, TX). Second team selections were Nick Bott (St. Louis, MO), Michael Bruce (Wichita, KS), Peter Lennox-King (Toronto, Ontario, Canda) and Andrew Schnell (Downers Grove, IL).
