STANFORD, Calif. - Fans will be treated to a top-10 matchup Saturday when No. 9 Stanford travels to top-ranked Arizona for a Pac-12 Conference men's swimming and diving dual meet at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center.

The Cardinal will face the Wildcats after starting the weekend double-dip Friday at Arizona State.

Each dual meet will begin at 11 a.m. (PT).

Already with a pair of wins under its belt, Stanford enters one of its most daunting stretches of the regular season with four dual meets slated in as many weeks.

"The men have been training really well and we've been blessed to not have any major injuries or illnesses this season," Goldman Family Director of Men's Swimming Ted Knapp said. "We're in a very healthy physical state and now want to be more mentally focused for our racing opportunities."

Knapp noted that going on the road for back-to-back meets this weekend will be a great opportunity for the team to work on the mental side of racing.

"We've been great on the physical side, and now we need more race rehearsals," Knapp said. "Everything from traveling, resting, eating and warming up - you want to get everybody introduced to the idea of doing those things the right away while away from home."

The Saturday bout will feature two of the nation's fastest 100 freestylers in Arizona's Giles Smith (3rd - 42.63) and Stanford's Aaron Wayne (6th - 42.96). Wayne (6th - 46.85) and Smith (1st - 45.81) also rank among the nation's best in the 100 fly.
