TUCSON, Ariz.-- Stanford's Dhruv Tyagi and Taylor Sishc finished second and third in the platform to closed out the Cardinal at the Wildcat Diving Invitational on Sunday.

The sophomore Tyagi scored a 322.90, followed by his senior captain, Sishc, who had a 308.50.

Tyagi got better as the meet went on, scoring 7.0's or better from five of the seven judges on his fifth dive, a back 1 1/2 somersault with a 2 1/2 twist, when he scored a 61.60. He finished off the competition with a score of 63.45 with 8.0's or better from four judges on a back 2 somersault and 1/2 twist.

Sishc scored 8.5's or better on his third dive, a reverse 2 1/2 somersault to tally 67.50 points. After faultering on his fourth dive and scoring 3.0's, he finished off the meet with with a 54.00 on a 2 1/2 somersault and a 62.40 score a 2 1/2 somersault with a 1 1/2 twist.

Both divers finished behind Arizona's Ben Grado and his top score of 378.60.

Tyagi was also a consolation winner of the one-meter on Friday, while Sishc was a consolation winner of the three-meter on Saturday. Tyagi also was sixth in the A Final of the three-meter and Sishc was fifth in the one-meter.

On the women's side Jennifer Wylie finished 22nd in the platform with a score of 153.75, posting a best of 35.65 on her second dive, a back 1 1/2 somersault.
