Stanford Posts Strong Showing at PAC Ten Diving Championships

TEMPE, Ariz. - Stanford diving had a strong showing over the weekend at the Pac 10 Diving Championships at Arizona State.

Kim Powers won the women's platform with a score of 359.95, Mark Michelin came in fourth in the men's final. (351.9) Justin Dumais of USC won the event with a score of 467.65. Erin Sones, Carissa Zenorinni and Kim Powers finished fourth, fifth and sixth in the 3-meter finals.

Lucas Brower came in second behind Dumais in the 1-meter finals, 576-471.5. They met up again in the 3-,eter finals, and unfortunately for Stanford, the results were the same. Dumais scored 611.45 to Brower's 484.45.

The Cardinal now have almost a month to relax before the NCAA Championships in Atlanta on Mar. 26-28.
