LOS ANGELES, Calif.--- Senior Tom Wilkens (Middletown, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) set a USC McDonald's Swim Stadium record in the 200 breaststroke (1:58.86) to lead No. 1 Stanford (6-0) to a 145-98 win over No. 5 USC (1-1). Wilkens, the defending NCAA champion in the 400 Individual Medley, also won the 200 IM (1:48.92) on Friday to lead the Cardinal.

Stanford took control early by winning five of the first seven events. Freshman Steven Brown (Reno, NV/Reno HS) was the other Cardinal double-winner, by capturing both the 200 butterfly (1:47.04) and 500 freestyle (4:27.83).
