U.S. Trials Begin in June for Nearly Four Dozen Past and Present Swimmers

Best Times: 200 Back (2:00.05, 2012), 100 Breast (54.86, 2012), 200 Breast (1:58.28, 2012)

International Competition: Part of Norwegian Junior National team form 2007 to 2009, competing at the 2009 European Juniors in 2009... Since 2003, swam for the top club team, Baerumsvommerne, in Norway, winning top honors in 2006-07, 2007-08, and 2008-09... won two gold medals at the Norwegian Junior Championships in 2009 and 2010... gold medalist at the senior championships in 2011... set the junior record in the 4x50 medley relay, 4x100 medley relay, 4x200 free relay and 4x100 medley relay.

2011-12 Season (Freshman): Was second during the dual season in the 200 breast against Hawaii and Pacific.... during the fall was fifth at the Arena Invite in the 200 breast and tenth in the 100 breast.

Personal: Son of Bjorn and Louise Wigstrom... has one sister, Mikaela... majoring in mechanical engineering... has lived in Sweden, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand and Norway.
