National and International Competition
• Partnered with Troy Dumais to win the bronze medal in the synchronized 3-meter (446.7) at the 2012 Olympics
• The duo's medal, along with the efforts of the United States' David Boudia and Nicholas McCrory with a bronze-worthy performances in the synchronized 10-meter platform, produced the first Olympic during medals of any kind for the United States since 2000
• Won the 3-meter synchro at the U.S. Olympic Trials with Dumais to earn his first Olympic berth
• Finished third in the 3-meter individual event two days later at the U.S. Olympic Trials, losing one of two Olympic spots by 1.25 points after having the lead in the prelims and semifinals
