Full Pac-12 Release 
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- In a vote by the Conference coaches, the Pac-12 All-Conference teams were announced on Tuesday with Stanford having three players recognized. Garrett Gunther led the Cardinal, earning first team honors after his breakthrough season where he led Stanford in scoring.
Gunther earned All-Pac-12 first team honors as a midfielder after scoring five goals and tallying two assists in his senior season. Gunther's 12 points led the Cardinal, as did his three game-winning goals. The Long Beach, Calif., native played his usual wide midfielder role using his pace and hustle to seam to be all over the field.
Earning second team All-Pac-12 honors was Adam Jahn. The junior is earning second team honors for the third-straight season. Jahn scored four goals on the season and handed out two assists. His 10 points were second on the team. The El Macero, Calif. native played a new role this season in the central midfield after spending his fist two seasons as a target striker. The new role suited Jahn well as he was able to make more of an impact on the game.
Finally, sophomore JJ Koval earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention. The sophomore scored two goals and had an assist, but is a stabilizing force for the Cardinal from his holding midfield position. Koval is an emerging star in the Pac-12 with a bright future for the Cardinal.
Kelyn Rowe of UCLA was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year, while his coach Jorge Salcedo earned the Coach of the Year honor. Seth Casiple of California was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. UCLA, who went undefeated in Pac-12 play led the conference with five All-Pac-12 first team honorees.
