STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford Men's Soccer, fresh off of a big win at No. 25 UC Santa Barbara last Friday, returns to Southern California to resume Pac-12 play this weekend. The Cardinal visits No. 7 UCLA Thursday night before facing off with San Diego State Saturday night.

Thursday night's contest against the Bruins will be aired live on the Pac-12 Networks, with Mark Rogondino and Cobi Jones on the call. The match against the Bruins (11-2-2, 6-1-0 Pac-12, 18 points) begins a three-game away stretch to end the Pac-12 regular season for the Cardinal (7-7-1, 3-3-1 Pac-12, 10 points).

Stanford has captured two away wins against ranked teams this season heading into Thursday match at the seventh-ranked Bruins. The Cardinal defeated then-No. 11 UC Irvine on Sept. 7 prior to last Friday's win in Santa Barbara.

Adam Jahn has scored four goals over Stanford's past five matches, highlighted by the match-winner, his third of the season, Friday night against the Gauchos. Jahn's 96th-minute winner was the only score of the 1-0 overtime win and earned him Pac-12 Player of the Week honors Tuesday.

Drew Hutchins made four saves to post his fifth clean sheet of the season as the Cardinal turned in one of its top defensive efforts of the season.

Stanford faces a UCLA team that is enjoying a fine run of form over the past two months, winning 11 of its past 13 matches and three in a row heading into Thursday night. Ryan Hollingshead and Reed Williams pace the Bruin attack with five goals apiece while the goalkeeping tandem of Earl Edwards and Juan Cervantes has shutout six opponents.

The Cardinal will aim to halt that momentum and avenge its 3-1 loss to the Bruins back on Sept. 28 at Cagan Stadium.

Saturday the Cardinal will go for the season sweep of San Diego State, which Stanford defeated 2-0 back on Sept. 30 at Cagan Stadium. The Aztecs (6-7-3, 0-5-2 Pac-12, two points) have dropped just one of its past four results, a stretch that includes win over Clemson and Point Loma Nazarene. Jordan Ongaro leads the Aztecs with seven goals while Kody Duff has registered six on the year.
