STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford men's soccer team has announced their 2008 spring schedule. The Cardinal will face four local opponents in homes games beginning on April 10, and will travel once to San Luis Obispo in late April.

Two of the games will be against non-NCAA opponents, as the opener on April 10 at 7:30 p.m. is against the San Francisco Seals of the U.S. Premier Development League (PDL) and the May 6 game will match the Cardinal up against the newly re-established Bay Area MLS franchise, the San Jose Earthquakes.

The remaining three games will pit Stanford against the St. Mary's Gaels, the Cal-Poly Mustangs, and local rival Santa Clara.

In addition, before beginning spring competitions, the Cardinal will embark on an eleven-day international trip to Spain on March 21. More details on Spain will be posted on goStanford.com as the trip nears.
