2009 was indeed a successful season for Stanford men's soccer as they made huge strides to once again become one of the elite teams in the nation. The Cardinal finished with 12-6-2 record and a No. 14 final national ranking by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Stanford junior Bobby Warshaw was named to National Soccer Coaches Association of America All America first team on Friday. Warshaw becomes the first Cardinal male to receive that honor since 2002.
