Stanford, Calif. - No. 2 Stanford will wrap up the 2011 regular season with a dual meet at No. 4 California. The Cardinal and Golden Bears have already met four times this season, but this will take on extra significance as it will be the final meeting ever with Cal no longer funding its program.

The Cardinal has been off for two weeks and was overtaken by Oklahoma for the top national ranking. Stanford will look to improve upon its top score of 364.400, which it posted earlier this season against Michigan. The score had been the top in NCAA all season until Oklahoma scored 366.400 last week.

The Cardinal is the nation's top team on high bar with a four-meet average of 58.800. It is also highly ranked on rings where it is the No. 2 team and floor, vault and parallel bars where it is the No. 3 team. The Cardinal rank No. 6 in the nation on pommel horse.

Individually, the Cardinal has several athletes among the top in the nation in different events. Alex Buscaglia is the top ranked athlete on horizontal bar and ranks 10th on the vault, while Josh Dixon ranks third on the floor and eighth on vault. Tim Gentry is also in the top-10 in multiple events as he is ranked fourth on vault and 10th on horizontal bar. In addition, James Fosco is ranked third on rings, Ryan Lieberman is third on parallel bars and John Martin is eighth on pommel horse.

After Friday's meet, the Cardinal will begin preparations for the Championship season. The Cardinal will compete in the MPSF Championships on April 2, before the NCAA Championships on April 14-16.
