STANFORD, Calif. - The top-ranked Stanford Men's Gymnastics team (6-0) will look to extend their winning streak Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in Berkeley when they face Bay Area and MPSF rival No. 5 California.

The Cardinal is fresh off last weekend's victories over No. 8 Illinois, No. 13 University of Illinois-Chicago, No. 9 Iowa, No. 7 Minnesota, No. 4 Ohio State, and No. 6 Michigan at the Windy City Invite in Chicago, Ill. The Cardinal tallied a total score of 354.450, 7.100 points ahead of the second-place Illini (347.350). Friday night's contest at Haas Pavilion will be the season opener for Cal.

This marks the first of four scheduled regular season contests in which the Cardinal will compete against the Golden Bears, the others being the Stanford Open (1/26), Winter Cup Challenge (2/9), Pacific Coast Classic (2/23), and The Big Flip Off on March 8 at Stanford. Stanford leads the all-time series, 117-49-2.
