Rob Grube Receives Sponsor's Exemption to Play in Legends at Sparks Marina Reno-Tahoe Open

Rob Grube, a four-time All-American who led Stanford to the 2007 NCAA men's golf championship, has been granted a sponsor's exemption into the 2008 Legends at Sparks Marina Reno-Tahoe Open, to be played July 28-August 3 at the Montreux Golf & Country Club.

Europe Wins Palmer Cup Presented By Monster

The European team recorded an impressive performance to come back and steal the Palmer Cup away from the Americans, as they won three and halved three singles matches on the second day of competition to reclaim the Palmer Cup presented by Monster at Glasgow Golf Club Gailes Links, 14-10. The Americans held a 6.5-5.5 advantage over Europe after the first day of play, but Europe swept the second day morning foursomes matches to win 8.5 of the days 12 points.

In its first year of existence, the All-Nicklaus team recognizes players from Division I, II, III and the NAIA for their outstanding play during the 2007-08 collegiate season.
