STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford sophomore Patrick Rodgers has accepted an invitation to join 22 of the country's best collegiate golfers to compete in the 2012 Western Refining Sun Bowl All-America Golf Classic, November 18-20. The 54-hole event will be held at the El Paso (Texas) Country Club, a 6,781-yard, par-71 course.

Rodgers has won a pair of tournaments this season and has four career wins in his Stanford career. He defended his 2011 title at Olympia Fields to start the season and took top honors at the U.S. Collegiate, firing a final round 67 to win the tournament going away. Rodgers was named first-team All-American last season as a freshman after winning two tournaments and carding the lowest stroke average on the team.
