SAN MARTIN, Calif. - Stanford's men's golf team finished second at the Gifford Collegiate Championships at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, Calif. after UCLA over came an 11-stroke deficit to edge the Cardinal for the team title.

The Cardinal shot a final round team score of 371 (+16) on Wednesday to finish at 1087 (+22) for the tournament, 13 strokes behind the Bruins, who carded a 8-under 347 over the final 18 holes to take the team title with a winning score of 1074 (+9).

Northwestern (1099) finished third while USC (1104) and Washington tied for fourth.

The Gifford Collegiate Championships count five of the top six scores from each team.

Individually, Sihwan Kim placed sixth with an even par 213 after shooting a final round 74 on the CordeValle layout.

Sophomore David Chung slipped back into a tie for ninth place at 216 after a final round 79 (+8).

Freshman Cameron Wilson turned in his second solid round on Wednesday, finishing with a 2-under 69, good for a tie for ninth place at 216 (+3).

Andrew Yun finished 15th at 218 (+5) after shooting a 73 on Wednesday.

Senior Steve Ziegler carded a final round 76 and finished tied for 30th at 224.

Freshman Shane Lebow tied for 74th at 230.
