Play Suspended at Second Round of NCAA Central Regional in South Bend

SOUTH Bend, Ind. - Rain and thunderstorms in the South Bend area forced a suspension of the second round of the NCAA Central Regionals being held at the Warren Course.

Stanford was four-under for the tournament when play was suspended, three strokes in front of second place Florida State.

The second round will resume at 8:00 a.m. ET on Saturday. The third round will begin at 8:30 from hole No. 10 and 8:50 a.m. from the first hole.

The top five finshers will advance to the NCAA Championships, June 1-6 in Chattanooga, Tenn.
