WAIKALOA, Haw. - Stanford fired a one-under team score of 287 on Friday to finish 11th at the Amer Ari Invitational held at the Waikaloa Kings' Course on the Big Island.

The Cardinal, which had won this event three times in the last four years, finished 28 strokes behind Oklahoma State, which finished 34-under at 830 to earn a four stroke victory over Texas (834; -30). UCLA finished third at 836 (-28) followed by Georgia Tech (844; -20) and USC (282; -19).

Patrick Cantlay of UCLA along with Bobby Hodson of Texas and Oregon's Daniel Miernicki tied for medalist honors at 203 (-13). Cantlay carded a final round 65 to earn a share of the individual title.

Sophomore Andrew Yun was Stanford's top finisher, tying for 23rd after a final round 69 left him at 212 (-4) for the tournament. Yun had six birdies against one bogey and one double bogey on his card today.

David Chung tied for 28th at 213 (-3) after turning in an even par 72 on Friday

Steve Ziegler's final round 72 included five birdies and five bogies and left the senior tied for 51st place.

Freshman Cameron Wilson tied for 59th at 218 (+2) while Graham Brockington tied for 88th at 222.
