Stanford Fourth, Kribel Sixth at The Nelson

STANFORD, Calif.--The Stanford men's golf team is in fourth place at 12-over par 580 after two rounds of The Nelson played at the Stanford Golf Course (Par 71, 6786 Yards) in Stanford, Calif. Louisiana State leads all teams at 572 followed by Colorado State at 574. Georgia Tech is in third place at 576.

Stanford junior All-American Joel Kribel is tied for sixth place at one-over par 143. Sophomore Tylar Lunke is tied for 16th at 145 while sophomore Dusty Brett is tied for 18th at 146. Junior David Searle, playing as an individual, moved into a tie for 25th place with 147 after carding a one-under par 70 in the second round. Freshman Alex Aragon is tied for 43rd at 150 while freshman Jimmy Lee is tied for 70th at 155.

Randy Leen of Indiana is on top individually at 139 followed by LSU's Adam Manuel at 140. Matt Kuchar of Georgia Tech, LSU's Trae Wieniewitz and Wes Latimer of Georgia Tech are tied for third at 141.

The final round of The Nelson will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday.
