Brett Second, Stanford Third at Nike Northwest Classic
CORVALLIS, Ore.--The Stanford men's golf team shot a six-over
par 294 in the final round to finish in third place (6933) at
the Nike Northwest Classic played at the par 72, 6933 yard
Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Oregon. BYU finished
first at 861 followed by Colorado State at 872.
Stanford sophomore Dusty Brett tied for second place
individually with a two-under par 214. Junior All-American
Joel Kribel tied for 10th at one-over par 217 while freshman
Jimmy Lee tied for 23rd at 220. BYU's Andy Miller captured the
individual title at six-under par 210.
Stanford will compete in the Fresno/Lexus Classic on October 24
and 25 at the San Joaquin County Club.
