2011-12 as a Redshirt Junior: Earned his third varsity letter competing in two events and carding a 74.3 stroke average...tied for 25th at the U.S. Intercollegiate after rounds of 71-76-70 (217, +7)...rebounded from an opening round 81 to finish 75-73 (229, +19) and tie for 61st at the Western Intercollegiate.
2010-11 as a Redshirt Sophomore: Played in one event to earn his second varsity letter...carded a stroke average of 75.7 in three rounds of competition...tied for 66th at Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini with rounds of 75, 74 and 78 (227, +17).
2009-10 as a Redshirt Freshman: Played in two events to earn his first varsity letter...carded a stroke average of 79.5 for his six rounds of competition...made his collegiate debut at The Prestige where he finished 78th as an individual competitor on rounds of 84, 80 and 80 (244)...also competed as an individual at the U.S. Intercollegiate at Stanford where he finished tied for 94th at 233 (86-75-72).
2008-09 as a Freshman: Redshirted the season.
High School and Personal Data: Graduated from New Trier High School in 2008 ... a four-year letterwinner for the Trevian and captained the golf squad his junior and senior years ... a four-time All-Central Suburban League selection at New Trier ... was named an American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) P Scholastic All-American, the team's MVP, and was a two-time all-state selection as a junior and senior ... won the AJGA SAP Junior Open in Cleveland, Ohio in June 2007 in a three-hole sudden death playoff...parents are Mark and Margot Bowen ...has two brothers, Ross and Ned ... born in New York City...aspires to be a professional golfer...enjoys spending time with friends ...management, science and engineering major.
