Season Opener to be Live on Comcast Bay Area

Stanford's season opening football game at Washington State will be broadcast live Comcast Sports Net Bay Area, with kickoff slated for 5 p.m. on September 5. It will be the first of three games already scheduled for television, with more likely to be announced at a later date.

Stanford Head Football Coach Jim Harbaugh made a recent appearance on Comcast's SportsNet Bay Area "Chronicle Live" to talk about the upcoming season and his first two seasons on The Farm. He was joined in studio by Stanford's radio play-by-play voice Dave Flemming along with veteran San Francisco Chronicle sportswriter Tom FitzGerald.
