STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford Football Weekly and host Kevin Danna talked Tuesday with Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football and head coach David Shaw about the Cardinal's 50-13 victory over Duke and several areas of improvement that showed. Shaw also discussed the matchups and challenges coming with No. 2/3 USC to Stanford Stadium on Saturday.

Four players also joined Stanford Football Weekly. Senior quarterback Josh Nunes had a career game against Duke with help from his playmaker teammates. Junior offensive guard/tackle David Yankey saw a big jump forward by this offensive line. Junior free safety Ed Reynolds relived his memorable night of interceptions. Senior cornerback Terrence Brown explained the Stanford defensive philosophy against passing offenses.

No. 21/16 Stanford (2-0) opens its conference schedule this Saturday Sept. 15 4:30pm PT at Stanford Stadium against longtime rival USC, with a national broadcast on FOX. Tickets for the game are sold out.
