Stanford Football Weekly and host Kevin Danna talked Tuesday with Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football and head coach David Shaw about the Cardinal's 50-13 victory over Duke and several areas of improvement that showed. Shaw also discussed the matchups and challenges coming with No. 2/3 USC to Stanford Stadium on Saturday.
Four players also joined Stanford Football Weekly. Senior quarterback Josh Nunes had a career game against Duke with help from his playmaker teammates. Junior offensive guard/tackle David Yankey saw a big jump forward by this offensive line. Junior free safety Ed Reynolds relived his memorable night of interceptions. Senior cornerback Terrence Brown explained the Stanford defensive philosophy against passing offenses.
