Stanford wide receiver Evan Moore is featured in a story that appears on the front page of the sports section of Thursday's San Jose Mercury News. Moore missed nearly the entire campaign in 2005 due to a dislocated hip suffered in the season-opener versus Navy.

Moore and his teammates are currently in the midst of training camp in preparation for the 2006 season-opener at Oregon on Saturday, September 2 (12:30 pm, PT, ABC). The Cardinal are scheduled to play the first game in the new Stanford Stadium versus Navy on Saturday, September 16 (7:00 pm, PT, FSNBA).
