Single-Game Tickets Go on Sale on Wednesday

STANFORD, Calif. -- - Single-game tickets for the 2012 Stanford football season will be available for purchase on Wednesday, August 1 beginning at 9:00 a.m. on-line at GoStanford.com, at the Stanford Athletics Ticket Office or over the phone by calling 1-800-STANFORD.

The Stanford Athletics Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

General admission single-game tickets are available for as low as $16 for adults and $10 for children. Reserved seats are available for as low as $30.

A limited number of tickets for the USC game priced at $80 will also be available for purchase.

Groups of 20 or more can also purchase discounted single-game tickets for all games with the exception of the USC game on Sept. 15.

The "Take SC and Go for Two" three-game mini-plans and family plans are sold out for the entire season.

Stanford opens its six-game home schedule on Friday, August 31 against longtime South Bay rival San Jose State in the annual Bill Walsh Legacy "Kids Free" game, with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. Kids 14 and under may receive a free general admission ticket voucher for the game by registering on Stanford Football's Facebook page starting on August 1.

Other attractive home dates on the 2012 home schedule include games against Duke (Sept. 8), USC (Sept. 15), Arizona (Oct. 6), Washington State (Oct. 27) and Oregon State (Nov. 10).

Stanford football will host its annual Open House event on Sunday, August 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Stanford Stadium and Dan Elliott Practice Field. The event, which will include admission to Stanford's open practice, behind-the scenes tour of Stanford Stadium and its locker room facilities, football skill stations, a mini fan fest and player autographs, is free and open to the public.

 

 

Fans will also have the opportunity to take photos with the 2011 Orange Bowl Trophy, an Andrew Luck cutout and learn more about the upcoming season and the Pac-12 Networks.

2012 football posters will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.

Fans will also have the opportunity to select their seats for new season ticket purchases.

Stanford, which finished with an 11-2 overall record last season, has compiled a 31-8 (.795) record over the last three seasons. The Cardinal's .795 winning percentage over the last three seasons ranks eighth highest among all FBS teams while its .885 winning percentage the last two campaigns ranks fifth-best among FBS programs.
