Morgan Turner enters his first season as an offensive assistant after having served as as strength and conditioning intern with the Stanford program last year.
Prior to his arrival at Stanford, Turner spent the 2009 season as the quarterbacks coach at Indiana State, where he worked under head coach Trent Miles and offensive coordinator and former Stanford All-America flanker Troy Walters.
In 2008, Turner served as the quarterback coach and scout team coordinator for Central High School in Champaign, Ill., where he helped Central to a berth in the Illinois State playoffs.
A 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois, Turner served as a student coach for the Fighting Illini during the 2004 season. He also coached the freshman quarterbacks during summer workouts during 2003 and '04.
A native of Champaign, Ill., Morgan received his bachelors of science degree in finance from Illinois in 2009.
