Walk-on who graduated from Central High School in Independence, Ore., in 2003....played for head coach Shane Hedrick...signed a national letter of intent with Washington State in February of 2003 but decided to pursue a career in professional baseball after being selected in the fifth round (151st overall) by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2003 Amateur Draft... will enter Stanford as a 26-year old freshman.

Minor Leagues: Played eight seasons (2003-10) in the Dodgers farm system, advancing as high as Triple A in 2010...posted a 21-19 record in 185 mound appearances during his career
