Morgan Turner Position: Assistant Coach - Tight Ends Experience: First Season Alma Mater: Illinois '09

Morgan Turner is in his first season as a full-time member of the coaching staff in 2013 and his fourth season overall with the program.

In 2011 and 2012, Turner served as an offensive assistant after having served as a strength and conditioning intern in 2010.

Prior to his arrival at Stanford, Turner spent the 2009 season as the quarterbacks coach at Indiana State, where he worked under head coach Trent Miles and offensive coordinator Troy Walters, a former Stanford All-America flanker.

During the 2008 season, Turner served as the quarterbacks coach and scout team coordinator for Illinois' Central High School. Turner helped Central to a berth in the Illinois state playoffs.

A 2009 graduate of Illinois, Turner served as a student coach for the Fighting Illini during the 2004 season. He also coached the freshman quarterbacks during 2003 and 2004 summer workouts.

The Champaign, Ill., native earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Illinois.
