Pac-10 Rowing All-Academic teams
STANFORD, Calif. - Twenty-four Stanford men's and women's rowers were honored as the Pac-10 named the 2009 Men's and Women's Rowing All-Academic teams. To be eligible for selection to an academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average and be either a starter or substitute of significant contribution.
The Stanford men, who will compete for a national title this weekend at the IRA Championships, landed 10 rowers on the first team, with six more rowers being named to the second team. The women, newly-crowned the 2009 NCAA Champion Sunday, had six rowers named to the women's first team and two named to the second team.
