STANFORD, Calif.- Stanford held its annual Cardinal-White scrimmage on Friday evening at Maples Pavilion, with the Cardinal squad posting a 52-44 victory over the White team.

The Cardinal team was led by Chasson Randle (16 pts. on 7-9 shooting) and Josh Huestis (12 pts. on 3-5 shooting). John Gage grabbed seven boards.

The White team was backed by an incredible effort from Dwight Powell (19 pts. on 8-11 shooting), who displayed the versatility of posting up inside and stretching the defense with long jumpers. Anthony Brown (15 pts. on 4-6 shooting) was on target from the outside.

Both teams combined to shoot 47.0 percent overall and 40.7 percent from beyond the arc, with six different players knocking down at least one triple. The clubs combined to shoot 82.1 percent (23-28) from the charity stripe while hauling down 32 rebounds.

There was plenty of excitement leading up the event, highlighted by Friday Frenzy activities and contests.

After the women's basketball team held its open practice, players and coaches for both teams were introduced.

The highly-anticipated dunk contest came down to a duel between Huestis and senior All-American high jumper Jules Sharpe of the track and field team. Sharpe, who played basketball in high school, showed off his athleticism with an array of high-flying dunks to narrowly edge out Huestis, one of Stanford's best rim-rattlers.

The fan spot-shot contest proved to be a crowd favorite, with the duos of John Gage/Bonnie Samuelson and Andy Brown/Jasmine Camp emerging as the winners. Samuelson and Camp both drained half-court shots.

The most excited individual inside Maples Pavilion might have been Winnie Liang, who won a fan contest earning a grand prize trip to the Bahamas. Liang entered a drawing offering a lucky fan an all-expense paid trip for two (airfare, transportation, tickets, lodging) to watch Stanford compete in the loaded Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas over Thanksgiving weekend.

The roster for the Cardinal team included the following:
