STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Dan Grunfeld scored 18 points to help Stanford to its 18th consecutive home victory, an 84-66 win over Montana on Thursday night.

Tim Morris and Matt Haryasz each scored 11 for the Cardinal (6-4), who won their fourth straight overall. They have won 27 of their last 28 home games. The current streak is the longest active among Pac-10 schools.

Haryasz also blocked three shots to move into 10th on Stanford's career list with 64. He surpassed current Cardinal assistant Eric Reveno.

Stanford also hit a season-high eight 3-pointers.

Kevin Criswell scored 16 points to lead Montana (4-7), which lost its fourth in five games. Matt Martin added 14.

Montana's only win in the four-game series came at Stanford in its last visit two years ago. The Grizzlies are one of just three teams since 1994 to win a nonconference game at Stanford. The Cardinal are 8-1 against the Big Sky Conference.

Larry Krystkowiak, the Grizzlies' first-year coach, played in the NBA for nine years and played for former Stanford coach Mike Montgomery, now with the Golden State Warriors, at Montana.

Hernandez made his first two free throws when Krystkowiak was whistled for a technical foul, but then missed his next attempt late in the first half to end his consecutive streak at 16.

The Cardinal maintained a comfortable lead through the second half, opening a 20-point edge with seven minutes remaining to play.

Stanford raced to a 22-10 lead with 10:41 left in the first half following Haryasz' three-point play. After hitting three straight 3-pointers over the next two minutes, the Cardinal expanded its lead to as many as 18 before settling for a 49-36 advantage at halftime.

It was the first time the Cardinal have held a double-digit halftime lead this year.
