SEATTLE (AP) - Kris Weems hit a 3-pointer as time expired to give No. 5
Stanford a 74-72 victory over Washington, extending the nation's longest
winning streak to 18 games.

Washington a 72-71 lead. Weems took the inbounds pass, dribbled to the top of
the key and launched his jumper just before the buzzer sounded. Washington had
a foul to give, but no one touched Weems as he made his way down court.

points in the first half, but Washington trail only 37-34 at halftime.
