STANFORD, Calif.-- Stanford Baseball players will head across the country for various summer leagues, with a majority of the players to play in New England, with eight players headed to the Cape Cod League and another four headed to the Northeast Collegiate Baseball League.

Yarmouth-Dennis in the Cape will feature RHP A.J. Vanegas, along with catcher Wayne Taylor and Freshman All-American Alex Blandino. Pitcher Spenser Linney will also be a part of Y-D. Over in Harwich, two-year starters Brian Ragira, the Cardinal's leading hitter from a year ago and Austin Wilson, the leading home run hitter, will play for Harwich. Hyannis will feature outfielder Dominic Jose, and infielder Brett Michael Doran.

Over in the NECBL, pitchers David Schmidt and John Hochstatter will join classmate and freshman infielder Austin Slater in Newport, Rhode Island. Danny Diekroeger is slated to play for Holyoke.

The Atlantic Collegiate League will feature Brant Whiting (South Hampton) and Brian Guymon (West Hampton). The Coastal Plain league will feature Tyler Maxwell and Jordan Kutzer for Moorehead City (NC). Thunder Bay in the midwest's Northwooods League will pitch LHP Garrett Hughes.

On the West Coast, RHP Sam Lindquist will play for Kitsap and incoming freshman OF/LHP Jonny Locher (Bellingham) and C Austin Barr (Corvallis) will also play in the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League.
