STANFORD, Calif.-- Stanford Baseball will serve as one of 16 NCAA Regional sites for next week's NCAA Tournament.
The Cardinal, the top seed, will host second-seeded and West Coast Conference champion Pepperdine (34-21), third-seeded Michigan State (37-21) and Western Athletic Conference Tournament champion Fresno State (30-26).
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
This is the 15th time under Mark Marquess that the Cardinal have hosted an NCAA Regional. The Cardinal have a 55-12 overall record in those 14 Regionals, advancing to 11 of its 14 College World Series over that stretch. In of those years, Stanford also hosted an NCAA Super Regional.
Game times are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and if necessary, Monday at 6 p.m. The games will be broadcast on ESPN3.com.
1 p.m. -- Game 1: #2 Pepperdine vs. #3 Michigan State 6 p.m. -- Game 2: #1 Stanford vs. #4 Fresno State
All-session tickets will go on sale on Tuesday with prices ranging from $60 (full price reserved) to $40 (general admission) to $25 (discounted general admission). Patrons can call 1-800-STANFORD or visit gostanford.com to purchase tickets. Single game tickets will go on sale the day of the game.
Stanford last hosted in 2008, going to that year's College World Series.
